Light the Sky wine tag for New Years

The first moment I saw this set, I thought of New Years celebrations! Then I thought of special birthdays and 4th of July too (though how many folks send out 4th of July cards?). Anyhow this set was the perfect excuse to heat emboss in gold and create an elegant wine tag:

Hanging in the wine tag are some wonderful Merci chocolates! (YUM) And on the back, I’ve added a panel where you can write a personal message to the recipient:

Here are the measurements if you’re interested in creating your own:

Card stock Basic Black 3 x 11”
Scored at 3”, 8.5” and 8-7/8”
Stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder
Circle cut out for the bottle neck is 1.75” across and I used the Stylish Shapes Dies.
Banner die is from the Nested Essentials Dies set, one layer in Gold Foil, second is Basic Black
Center of fireworks burst is the gold sequin from the Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins
Ribbon is from my stash

When I stamped and embossed the top panel, I made a smaller fireburst in the center and die cut that out. Then I die cut a Gold Foil circle (one size larger than the one I used for the bottle neck) and layered them.
Let me know if you end up creating a wine tag. I’ll share some other wine tag designs in another post…
