Want to make a SIMPLE Hallowee’en treat wrapper? Here’s a perfect one if the treat is a flat-ish packet like this gummy packet from Trader Joes: a matchbook style treat holder!
Open the cover up and you see the treats:
To make this treat I measured the treat package: 3.75”h x 3”w x.25” deep
I cut the patterned card stock at 3.25”x 8” and created score lines at 3.5”, 3.75” and 7.5”. Fold at each of the score lines. At the 1/2” score line fold, tuck one of the sealed edges of the treat and staple it in the middle - width wise and lengthwise. It’s actually important to staple the bottom with a little edge or lip so that the top flap can tuck in.
On the cover I added a bow and simple “BOO” sentiment.
Change the themed candy packet and the patterned card stock and you can create a treat packet for any occasion!
Thanks for stopping by…hope the dimensions and how I figured out the sizing is helpful to you in your creations!
