Oh what a mouth full! A spanner easel card! LOL Just a super fun funfold card, super simple too! I used the Country Birdhouse stamp set and dies. The background is dry embossed with the Distressed Brick folder and the adorable floral vine paper is from the retired Flight and Airy DSP pack. The card looks like this when you take it out of the envelope:

Latte Love coffee card
Ever get a stamp set (or other craft item, like some pretty fabric for example) and get all anxious about using it? That was this “coffee” based set for me. So I brought it on vacation. And yes I did make this card but I realized that I couldn’t use any of the wonderful dies since I hadn’t brought the right colors of cardstock! (Oh well, I can revisit that when we get back LOL. )
Anyhow so I needed to use mainly the DSP (A Little Latte #163453) and stamp set (#163455) for this card. No problem - Pinterest always provides plenty of inspiration! And since I love fun fold cards, I decided to create a triangle flap card that has a smaller notecard attached.
I decided to fussy cut from the printed DSP the coffee cups with the artistic milk foam…I love when a barista has some fun adding an artistic flair to the coffee foam💕 I chose two different (double sided) DSP prints for the triangular pieces so that all four triangular pieces would be different. And then I adhered the center panel and added a partial coffee cup on the bottom
Last but not least was the sentiment, from the Latte Love stamp set, die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183)
And with a bit of twine underneath the sentiment, this card was done! Perhaps a neutral color gem or matte dot might be nice but I don’t bring them along. Stay tuned for more cards with this set!

Flowers For Every Season Poinsettia Overlay Panel card
This is an oldie I found in my stash, but I still love it and still use the same card sketch (layout). I've only ever seen it named once, as an Overlay Panel card. So here's the front of my Overlay Panel card:
It looks fancy but the card base is the usual 8.5 x 5.5" and scored at 4.25. Then the front of the card base is cut at 3.25" and the piece that is cut off is then rotated and adhered to the inside, as shown below:
Then I added embossed panels on the sides (totally optional), and some white panels as "mats" to the poinsettia DSP panels and inside for writing a personal message. The DSP pieces measure 2 7/8x 2 7/8 and 5x.75" respectively.
The corresponding stamp set for this printed paper is called Four Season Floral and it has the exact poinsettia image from the paper as a clear stamp. So it was a natural to use it inside the card and again on the envelope.
Hope you liked my card and that it inspires you to create something too...whatever medium it may be!

Waterfall birthday card
I love using the excuse of a special card to try a new-to-me fun fold or card design. So I created this waterfall card…I had looked at a tutorial long ago but it didn’t seem to make sense and I guess I was in an impatient mood that day. I did a different card design that time. But on this day, I was determined! So I used one of my all-time favorite DSPs: Hues of Happiness. And this is how the card turned out:

Zany Zoo interactive flip or swing card
There's a new, super fun printed paper pack called Zoo Crew, with a corresponding stamp set (Zany Zoo) and dies too (Zany Zoo Dies). It has all sorts of cartoon like animals...a raccoon holding a bouquet of balloons, a llama sits knitting, the aardvark holding a gift, etc. I received a special order for a birthday card and decided to create this interactive "flip" or "swing" card... and this is how it turned out...
And here's in the inside fully opened, with room to sign the card and add a personal message. The adorable mini cupcakes are from an old retired set call Tasty Trucks and seemed to match the koala bear's juggling cupcakes perfectly!
I love making interactive cards like this...little ones and adults alike love the simple action of this card.
The Zany Zoo paper pack is available online, as is the stamp and die sets that coordinate. The die set I used to create the card base however is an old old old Sizzix set and is no longer available. Let me know if you'd like to order the Zany Zoo paper pack, stamp set or corresponding dies online...I'm always happy to help with any questions...
thanks for stopping by. have a wonderful day!
